My Story:

Hello, hello, hello! Welcome to my blog! My name is Aga. I’m thrilled to share a piece of my story with you. I believe that life’s twists and turns shape us into who we are today, and my journey has been nothing short of transformative.

Born and raised in the beautiful village in Poland, I started on a path that would lead me through challenges, love, learning, and ultimately to the world of personal finance.

From my early days in elementary school to the wins and struggles of high school, I’ve always been driven by a thirst for knowledge and growth. But it was a romantic tale that would change the course of my life forever.

Picture this: a girl meets a boy, a connection sparks, and against all odds, I found myself head over heels in love. The catch? This whirlwind romance took me across the globe to Canada -a place where the language, culture, and lifestyle were entirely new.

Starting a new chapter in Canada was both exhilarating and daunting. With limited English proficiency, I navigated the challenges by enrolling in ESL classes and working part-time to make ends meet.

The journey had its uphill battles but paved the way for my personal growth. As time moved forward, so did my aspirations. College became my next destination.

Life took an unexpected turn when my marriage ended, and I found myself grappling with a mountain of debt, practically homeless and without any support system to fall back on.

Yet, adversity has a unique way of revealing our true potential. It was during this time that I became interested in personal finance, eager to find solutions for my own financial disaster.

This newfound knowledge ignited a passion within me—a strong desire to not only improve my own situation but also to help others to improve theirs.

That is how I began my journey as a financial advisor. The role allowed me to help people navigate their financial journeys and make informed decisions. I was inspired by my own progress in paying off the debt and starting to save money. It felt like magic.

However, life had other plans. I took a break from the industry for a few years, during which I continued my pursuit of knowledge. I could not get the finance world out of my head, and I returned to my roots, determined to deepen my understanding.

I pursued higher education, studying accounting in college and later diving into finance at university. I earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance. Honestly, it was a bucket list item.

At the moment, I am dedicated to obtaining my CFA designation (passed Level 2). This journey has reinforced my commitment to excellence in the field and provided a new perspective on finance.

My mission remains unchanged: to empower individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve financial independence. As I continue to learn, grow, and evolve, I’m excited to share my insights and expertise with you on my blog.
